MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman David LaMay, Vice Chairman Brad Thorpe, Derrik Kennedy, Barry O’Nell, John O’Brien, Tom Stevenson, Breck Lindley
MEMBERS ABSENT:
OTHERS PRESENT: First Selectman Carl Fortuna, Selectman Scott Giegrich, Chief Michael Spera, Superintendent Jan Perruccio, Julie Pendleton, Finance Director Lisa Carver, Treasurer Bob Fish, Tax Collector Barry Maynard, Police Commissioner Christine Burnham, Becky Coffey, and other citizens.
Chairman LaMay called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m.

- Roll Call – all members were present
- Discussion and Action To Recommend an Appropriation and Bond Authorization of $9,995,000 for a New Police Facility and Related Improvements
B. Thorpe moved to recommend an appropriation and bond authorization of $9,995,000 for a new police facility and related improvements, seconded by J. O’Brien. Unanimously approved. MOTION CARRIED.
- Discussion and Action on Resolution to Recommend an Appropriation and Bond Authorization of $3,900,000 for Replacement of the Roof at Old Saybrook Middle School and the Windows and Doors at Goodwin School, Reconstruction of the Tennis Courts and Track at Old Saybrook High School
B. Thorpe moved to recommend an appropriation and bond authorization of $3,900,000 for replacement of the roof at Old Saybrook Middle School and the windows and doors at Goodwin School, reconstruction of the tennis courts and track at Old Saybrook High School; seconded by J. O’Brien. B. Lindley commented on the need for the schools capital projects and the athletic field to be a single questions – as both relate to schools. B. O’Nell commented on the need for separate questions for these two items. T. Stevenson, J. O’Brien, and D. Kennedy commented on the need for separate questions to all for the public to choose priorities instead of all being lumped into one questions. Unanimously approved. MOTION CARRIED.
- Discussion and Action on Resolution to Recommend an Appropriation and Bond Authorization of $1,200,000 for Construction of a Turf Field at Old Saybrook High School
B. Thorpe moved to recommend an appropriation and bond authorization of $1,200,000 for construction of a turf field at Old Saybrook High School, seconded by B. Lindley. Unanimously approved. MOTION CARRIED.
B. Thorpe moved to adjourn at 6:45 p.m., seconded by B. O’Nell. Unanimously approved. MOTION CARRIED.
