I. Call Meeting to Order at 7:05 PM
II. Accepted Meeting Minutes from June 13, 2013
III. Old Business:
-Rack Cards (Completed)
-Welcome Signs (Completed/Being picked up by Dept. of Public Works and we will
determine an installation schedule.)
-Follow-up discussion regarding Historic Old Saybrook (Letter will be sent to the
Historical Society to thank them for coming before the commission and expressing
our ongoing interest in following the progress of their efforts.) A future EDC role
was not determined.
IV. New Business:
-Executive Director Transition Update (See ED Report Attached)
-Outline Job Search Process (Search Committee of Lisa, Christine and JD and
maybe an outside person will interview candidates. Narrow to three for presentation
to First Selectman and EDC.) Ultimate decision will be by First Selectman.
-Workshop Date (7-25-13 with Christine/Lisa/EDC Person from Newtown) –
We are suggesting an afternoon meeting at Town Hall.)
-Review First Draft of Job Description
