III. OLD BUSINESS
- “Hackett Motorcars” Registration
381 Middlesex Turnpike (M52 / L67), Saybrook Aquifer
Applicant: David Hackett, Owner
W. Pollock recused himself from this application.
S. Prisloe explained that D. Hackett owns the business, but he rents the space. The owner of the space, “The Clark Group” submitted the APA registration application.
There are 3 businesses on the property, and when the packet was before the APA on December 15, 2011, there was no information from the other 2 businesses. Therefore, APA Commissioners decided the application was incomplete.
Since the December 15, 2011 APA meeting, S. Prisloe has done a site inspection, and he’s spoken to the property owners, and none of the other businesses have regulated activities, so they are not required to register. D. Hackett is the only business owner with a regulated activity at this address, so the application is complete.
MOTION to accept the application for “Hackett Motorcars” Registration; 381 Middlesex Turnpike (M52 / L67), Saybrook Aquifer, Applicant: David Hackett, Owner; MADE by K. Gallagher; SECONDED by C. Wehrly; VOTED IN FAVOR: K. Gallagher, C. Sohl, C. Wehrly, J. Preston, J. Esty: OPPOSED: none; ABSTAINED: none; APPROVED: 5-0-0.
