Present: Theodore Pendleton, Barbara D’Agostino and Anita Yust seated for Tony Brodeur and I. Ben Aiken seated for Susan Missel.
Absent: Tony Brodeur, Susan Missel, and Kingmon Snow.
Attending Staff: Stella Beaudoin, Recording Clerk.
Mr. Pendleton called the meeting to order at 7:55 p.m.

1634 Boston Post Road (Map 26/Lot 39)
B-4 District
Applicant: Tyson Nolf
Tyson Nolf presented. This is an application for approval of an internally illuminated sign to replace the existing internally illuminated sign. The background will be white and the text will be a black font with a blue border across the bottom of the sign. There was a brief discussion on the options for font colors.
MOTION to recommend approval of the application for; “Shoreline PC” 3 Signs, 1634 Boston Post Road, Map 26/Lot 39, Business B-4 District, Applicant: Tyson Nolf; MADE by Theodore Pendleton; SECONDED by I. Ben Aiken; APPROVED by T. Pendleton, I Ben Aiken, B. D’Agostino and A. Yust (4-0-0).
B. “Saybrook Hardware” 1 Wall Sign
132 Main Street (Map 37/Lot 124)
B-1 District
Applicant: Jessica May
Jessica May presented. This is an application for approval of an illuminated, wall mounted sign. Ms. May stated that there is currently a 3 ½’ x 6’ Ace Hardware sign on the front of the building which the applicant wishes to replace with a wall mounted 3’ x 6’ illuminated Benjamin Moore paint sign. The Ace Hardware sign will be relocated to the side of the building. There are currently three existing signs on the building which will include the Benjamin Moore sign. There was a brief discussion on the nature and location of the three existing signs.
MOTION to recommend approval of the application for; “Saybrook Hardware” 1 Wall Sign, 132 Main Street, Map 37/Lot 125, Business B-1 District, Applicant: Jessica May; with the condition that the Ace Hardware sign will be located on the front of the building and the proposed Benjamin Moore sign will be placed on the Colter Street side of the building. Both signs will be non-illuminated; MADE by I. Ben Aiken; SECONDED by Barbara D’Agostino; APPROVED by T. Pendleton, B. D’Agostino I. Ben Aiken and A. Yust (4-0-0).
