The Board reviewed the proposed warrant for a Special Town Meeting. This has been done in response to a petition filed by Nottingham residents, requesting a special meeting. Mr. Brown informed the Board that the town attorney has reviewed the warrant and it is acceptable as written.
Motion: Bonser, second Netishen to sign the warrant as written, for a Special Town Meeting.
Vote: 3-0 in favor.
Mr. Brown informed the Board of a request from the Library Trustees to appoint an alternate member to their board. They have requested the Selectmen approve the appointment of Colleen Prieto as an alternate member of the Library Board of Trustees.
Motion: Netishen, second Bonser to approve the recommendation of the Library Trustees to appoint Ms. Prieto as an alternate Library Trustee.
Vote: 3-0 in favor.
Both Mr. Bock and Netishen reviewed their contacts and experiences from their attendance of the LGC Conference over the last two days.
Ms. Bonser brought up a question from the Planning Board meeting on Wednesday night. What person or department in town will be doing follow-up on the testing defined in the USA Springs permits? Mr. Brown did not know specifically. He feels the Town may have to request any test results, they may not be automatically be forwarded to the Town. He will review the permits and agreements to get a clearer answer to the question.
Having no further business,
4:20 PM Motion: Bonser, second Netishen to adjourn.
Vote: 3-0 in favor.
Respectfully Submitted,
Charles A. Brown
