The Sparrell/Middle School septic system needs a booster pump system and it will be placed behind the town hall.  This is necessary to meet the requirements of Title V. The Board of Health approved a revised conceptual plan for the septic system.  The Selectmen felt the architect/engineer should have realized the design capacity necessary and perhaps this added booster pump system would not be necessary.  The Board of Selectmen and School Building Committee will meet another time on this and other items.

It will be necessary to install temporary electric power on an existing pole at town hall to operate the pumps.

MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board approve the installation of a booster pump system for the Sparrell/Middle School septic system.  Also approved - To provide temporary electrical service for the booster pump system .  Second by Mr. Gaynor.

Unanimously Voted

MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board approve the request from Bay State Piping for a road opening permit to place a new 4” telephone conduit that will cross over an existing Norwell Water Department 10” transite water main in place on Assinippi Avenue.   An additional crossing of a ¾” water service servicing a private business will also be attempted.  Dig Safe # 20014807977.  Second by Mr. Gaynor.
