Norwell Board of Selectmen’s Meeting
August 1, 2001
Mr. Merritt opened the meeting and introduced the Board members and Jim Boudreau, Town Administrator.
Mr. Gaynor requested to add a second item to Old Business to update the Master Plan.
MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board approve the agenda as amended. Second by Mr. Gaynor.
Unanimously Voted.
MOTION: Mr. Merritt moved the Board open the Public Hearing at 7:30 for Change of Manager,
T. G. I. Friday’s. Second by Mr. Gaynor.

Old Business
1. Annual Re-Appointments.
MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board re-appoint Robert B. McInnis to the Computer Study Committee for a 1 year appointment expiring June 30, 2002. Second by Mr. Gaynor.
Unanimously Voted.
MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board re-appoint Paul Tedeschi as the Cushing Memorial Director for a 3 year appointment expiring June 30, 2004. Second by Mr. Gaynor.

MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board re-appoint Bertram Phillips to the Groundwater Protection Committee for a 1 year appointment expiring June 30, 2002. Second by Mr. Gaynor.

MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board re-appoint Sally I. Turner to the Rte. 3 Lane Development Task Force to a 1 year appointment expiring June 30, 2002. Second by Mr. Gaynor.

MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board re-appoint Wesley Osborne, Jr. to the Veteran’s Grave Officer for a 1 year appointment expiring June 30, 2002. Second by Mr. Gaynor.

MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board re-appoint Brian O’Donnell to the Capital Budget Committee for a 3 year appointment expiring June 30, 2004. Second by Mr. Gaynor.

Mr. Gaynor stated at the meeting on July 26, 2001 the agenda was housing, neighborhoods and economic development.
The next meeting is Thursday night, August 02, 2001, Community Design partnership, the consultants will give an update as to where we are.
MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board adjourn to Executive Session to discuss Contracts not to return to Open Session. Second by Mr. Gaynor.
