Board of Selectmen’s Meeting
June 13, 2001
Mr. Merritt opened the Board of Selectmen’s meeting introducing the Board and the Town Administrator.
MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board approve the agenda as written. Second by Mr. Gaynor.
Unanimously Voted.
There was a vacation request from James M. Boudreau, Town Administrator. He will be taking 5 days off at the end of the fiscal year and would like to carry over his remaining vacation time to the next fiscal year.
MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board approve a request from James M. Boudreau, Town Administrator to take vacation June 25-29, 2001 and that we allow him to carry over his remaining vacation time to the next fiscal year. Second by Mr. Gaynor.

It was necessary for the Board to appoint a designee to the Plymouth County Commissioners Advisory Board. They appointed Mr. Merritt.
MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board designate Mr. Merritt as the Advisory Board Member to the Plymouth County Commissioners. Second by Mr. Gaynor.

The Norwell Men’s Club requested permission to hold their parade.
MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board approve a Request from the Norwell Men’s Club to hold a parade on June 16, 2001 and their fair at the Norwell High School. Second by Mr. Gaynor.

MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board approve a Request from the North River Theatre for a license to sell alcoholic beverages at an event to be held on their premises on Fridays, June 15th and 29th, 2001 between the hours of 8:00 PM and Midnight. Second by Mr. Gaynor.
Unanimously Voted.
MOTION: Mr. Mariano moved the Board adjourn. Second by Mr. Gaynor.
