Board of Selectmen's Meeting Minutes
April 3, 2002
At 7:00, Susan Mills, Treasurer/Collector and Jan Lawson were present for a $275,000 Note Signing. A roll over note for the Water Department for South Street and Tiffany Road purchase of land.
Mr. Mariano opened the meeting and introduced the Board members and Jim Boudreau, Town Administrator.
MOTION: Mr. Gaynor moved the Board approve the agenda as amended. Second by Mr. Merritt.
Unanimously Voted.
At 7:40, Richard Caldwell, Veteran's Agent Applicant was introduced. Mr. Caldwell, a resident for 40 years is a retired School Teacher of 36 years. A retired Call, and volunteer Fire fighter and EMT. And many years of enlisted service.
MOTION: Mr. Gaynor moved the Board approve the appointment of
Richard Caldwell as Acting Veteran's Agent. Second by Mr.
Merritt.
Unanimously Voted.
At 7:50, Frances S. Molla, a Veteran's Memorial Committee applicant was introduced. Ms. Molla is a resident for 42 years. A retired registered nurse, involved in the American Cancer Society.
MOTION: Mr. Gaynor moved the Board approve the appointment of
Frances S. Molla to the Veteran's Memorial Committee. Second
by Mr. Merritt.
Unanimously Voted.
Old Business
MOTION: Mr. Gaynor moved the Board approve Board of Selectmen
Meeting Minutes from March 6, 2002 -March 27, 2002. Second
by Mr. Merritt.
Reminder - Eagle Scout Ceremony on April 7, 2002.
