7:30 P.M. – Business Meeting
7:35 P.M. – Public Hearing for Denise M. Borden of 841 Main Street where appeal to the Superior Court was remanded back to the ZBA for further discussion.
7:55 P.M. – Public Hearing for Edward & Alicia Curley for a Special Permit under Sections 1400, 1420, 1640, 1642 and 2421 because lot is less then the one acre required by the Norwell Zoning Bylaws. Applicant wishes to add a 24’ x 24’ addition and a 24’ x 24’ garage to property located at 41 Grove Street and shown on Assessor’s Map 5D as Block 12, Lot 27, Registry of Deeds Book 14546, Page 315 in Business District B and a small back section of lot in Residential District B.
8:10 P.M. – Continued Public Hearing for Greg Webb for a Site Plan Review, Section 1500, Special Permit pursuant to Sections 1420, 1642, 2421, 3211 and a Variance pursuant to Sections 1322, 3222 of the Norwell Zoning Bylaws. The lot is located at 134-136 Washington Street in Business District B and part in Residential District B and shown on Assessor’s Map 11B, Block 19, Lot 12, Registry of Deeds Book 8634, Page 201. Two existing buildings will be removed in order to construct one multi-use building with 3 (2) bedroom units and office/retail space. An existing 15’ x 20’ garage/office to remain. The new building will have 720 sq. ft. more area then the two existing buildings.
8:30 P.M. – Continued Public Hearing for Thomas & Concetta Bermingham for a Special Permit (Sections 1400, 1420, 1640, 1642 of the Norwell Zoning Bylaws) to add a second story addition to a non-conforming lot. An acre or 43,560 sq. ft. is required under Section 2421 where the lot is only 17,440 sq. ft. A variance will be needed for the farmer’s porch where the front yard setback is less than 35’ under Sections 1322 a)b)c) & 2441. The property is located at 19 Leigh Road and shown on Assessor’s Map as 12D, Block 27, Lot 45, Registry of Deeds Book 4537 Page 34 in Residential District B.
8:45 P.M. – Brian and Pamela Kelley for a Special Permit under Sections 1420, 1640, 1642 and 2421 of the Norwell Zoning Bylaws because lot is non-conforming. An acre or 43,560 sq. ft. is minimum required where lot is only 29,640 sq. ft. The applicant is proposing an 18’ x 36’ in-ground pool that would meet all setbacks. Property is located at 64 Christopher Road and shown on Assessor’s Map 12C, Block 31, Lot 39 Registry of Deeds Book 12482 Page 85 in Residential District B.
