Special Town Meeting 12/14/2015

 NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
December 14, 2015
        A special town meeting of the electors and citizens qualified to vote in town meetings of the Town of North Stonington, Connecticut, will be held in the North Stonington Elementary School on the 14th day of December, 2015 at 7:00 PM for the following purposes:

  • To hear and act upon the acceptance of two tracts of land from Green Falls Associates, LLC, one located on the westerly side of Boombridge Road, and the other at the intersection of Boombridge Road and Clark Falls Road a/k/a Route 216, as described on a plan, entitled “Plan Showing Spalding Pond Subdivision Property of Green Falls Associates, LLC Profit Sharing Plan Clarks Falls Road A.K.A. Connecticut Route 216 and Boombridge Road North Stonington, Connecticut Scale: 1”=50’ June 2014 Revisions 7/30/14 to Address Comments Date 7/29/14 From Juliet Lemming 8/27/14 Added Driveway Swale & Infiltration Trench to Serve Common Drive for Lots 2 & 3 & Lot 4 Drive 9/2/14 Added Rain Garden to Each Lot 10/2/14 Per Conditions of Approval Sheet 2 of 3 Dieter & Gardner Land Surveyors-Planners P.O.   • To hear and act upon a Purchase and Sales Agreement between the Town of North Stonington and Mutual Housing Association of SC CT for property known as 101 Anthony Road, North Stonington in the amount of $1.00, to be sold subject to a  Declaration of Land Use Restrictive Covenants – Homeownership Housing without Rentals, pertaining to 101 Anthony Road, North Stonington.
  • To hear and act upon the passage of an Ordinance titled-
“Withholding Issuance or Approval of a Building Permit Application contingent upon the payment of Real Estate Property Taxes.”
  • To hear and act upon an additional appropriation request as approved by the Board of Finance of $ 4,500 for the line item B26.04 State Troopers for the Click It Ticket It Grant for FY 15-16, with a 100% reimbursement to the Town.
  • To hear and act upon an acceptance of a limited access easement from Bison Brook Farms, Inc., for ingress to and from Button Road to provide access to that certain tract of land formerly conveyed by H. David Geer to The Young
Men’s Christian Association of Southeastern Connecticut, now owned by 96 Button Road Trust, Van Brown, Trustee; said access way is more particularly described in a “Grant of Limited Access Easement” and is pursuant to a court judgment in the matter of the Town of North Stonington vs. Van Brown, Trustee, et al, Docket Number KNL_CV_13-6017285-S, said judgment recorded on the North Stonington Land Records at Volume 217, Page 1063.
