Meeting Minutes
Attendance: Mike Urgo, Jay Peterson, Dan Spring, Mark Perkins, Dave Sellins, Sam Cherenzia, Mike Anderson, and Walt Mathwich.
Pamela Potemri joined later as well as Bob Carlson, who logged in by phone.
I. Call to order at 7:35 PM.
II. Order of business.
A. Correspondence. Received communications from several architect bidders. Tai Soo Kim Partners wanted feedback on why they had not been short-listed. Additional communications were discussed.
B. Approval of minutes for previous meeting. Mark Perkins moved we table the discussion until our next meeting. Dan Spring seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
C. Executive session to discuss architect bids. 7:55 pm.
D. Came out of executive session at 8:40 pm.
E. Motion from Mark Perkins: The committee recommends to the Board of Selectmen the selection of Quisenberry Arcari Associates LLC for the architectural and design services for the school buildings, as noted in the advertised Request for Qualifications/Proposals. Motion passed with seven votes yes, one abstain (Sam Cherenzia), and one against. Mike Urgo recused himself from the vote.
F. Discussed hiring secretary for the committee. Agreed to continue the discussion at a future meeting.
III. Adjourned at 9:06 pm. Motion by Dave Sellins. Seconded by Mark Perkins. Motion carried unanimously.
