School Ad Hoc Committee Minutes Final
 
1.      CALL MEETING TO ORDER:  Walt Mathwich called the meeting to order at 6:40 pm.
 
2.      ROLL CALL:  Members Present:   Bob Carlson, Sam Cherenzia,  Arthur Dobley,  Julie Lanier (Recording Secretary), Brett Mastroianni and Walt Mathwich (Chairman).   Missing:  Leslie Driscoll,  Jeff Frenette (Correspondance Secretary), and  Chris D’Angelo (Vice-Chairman).
 
3.      Public Comments and Questions:  None
 
4.      ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None
 
5.      MINUTES:
 
6.      CORRESPONDENCE:  The committee received electronic copies of the signed contract for the RFP
 
7.      OLD BUSINESS:  Continuing discussions on RFP for School Building Project Costs
 
8.      NEW BUSINESS:  See workshop
 
9.      Discussions:
The group discussed that dates need to be provided for next year's regular meetings.  Also, that the annual board member chairman, secretary, vice- chairman and recording secretary positions need to be voted on at a future meeting and to discuss if we need new members since we have 2 members who have not attended in awhile.
 
10.  WORKSHOP:  Began at ~7: 10 pm- ended at 8:30 pm.  Kick off meeting with Quisenberry Architects, Board of Ed, and Wheeler School Administration.  Absent:  Board of Selectman.  Timelines were discussed.  The need for future meetings with joint membership of BOE, ADHOCSC, and others will be needed to meet deliverable timelines.  Over the next few weeks, the architects (along with engineers) will tour the facilities.  In addition, a meeting will take place on November 30 at 9 am between the Administration and the architects on the long term Educational plan.  The next meeting with the architects for the ADHOCSC will be on November 28, 7 pm.
 
11.  ADJOURNMENT:   Regular Meeting was adjourned at 6:50 pm.  Motioned by Julie Lanier, seconded by Walt Mathwich.
