School Ad Hoc Committee Minutes Draft
1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Julie Lanier called the meeting to order at 7:23 pm.
2. ROLL CALL: Members Present: Bob Carlson, Sam Cherenzia, Leslie Driscoll, Julie Lanier (Recording Secretary), Brett Mastroianni and Walt Mathwich (Chairman). Missing: Arthur Dobley, Jeff Frenette (Correspondance Secretary), and Chris D’Angelo (Vice-Chairman).

6. CORRESPONDENCE: Invitation to feasibility meeting from Board of Ed on Sept 27 at Wheeler High School Media Room at 6pm. Approval of appropriations for RFP to move forward received.
7. OLD BUSINESS: Continuing discussions on RFP for School Building Project Costs
8. NEW BUSINESS: None
9. Discussions:
The group discussed with First Selectman, Nick Mullane present, the next steps in the School Building Project cost estimation process. The committee felt that a workshop to go over expectations and timelines is needed to ensure deliverables will be met. Committee chairman and Nick Mullane will schedule visit with architects indicating that the work stated on pages 12-19 is accepted, however, all the work requested in the RFP letter that was submitted for bids is also required. A formal contract from Quisenberry Arcari will be requested.
10. WORKSHOP: Will be tentatively held on October 17, 2011 to go over work with Architects
11. ADJOURNMENT: Meeting was adjourned at 7:45pm. Motioned by Julie Lanier, seconded by Bob Carlson.
