School Ad Hoc Committee Minutes Draft
1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Julie Lanier called the meeting to order at 7:45pm.
2. ROLL CALL: Members Present: Arthur Dobley, Bob Carlson, Leslie Driscoll, Jeff Frenette (Correspondance Secretary), Julie Lanier (Recording Secretary), Brett Mastroianni and Walt Mathwich (Chairman). Missing: Sam Cherenzia and Chris D’Angelo (Vice-Chairman)..

4. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None
5. MINUTES: The Minutes from 04-25-2011 were approved.
6. CORRESPONDENCE: Letter from Brian Mahoney, State of CT Department of Education was forwarded to the team from the town's Business Manager. The letter's subject: A sensible school design standard. The letter describes new standards that will need to be incorporated into design work if not finalized before March 2012.
7. OLD BUSINESS: None

9. Discussions:
Update on timelines for the School School of Choice Feasibility was discussed: Draft due June 13, Final July 11, 2011.
10. WORKSHOP: The committee reviewed the RFPs. Review will continue at the next meeting.
11. ADJOURNMENT: Regular Meeting was adjourned at 7:45pm. Motioned by Leslie Driscoll, seconded by Bob Carlson.
