School Ad Hoc Committee Minutes DRAFT
1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Chairman Walt Mathwich called the meeting to order at 7:11 pm.
2. ROLL CALL: Members Present: Walt Mathwich (Chairman), Sam Cherenzia, Bob Carlson, Arthur Dobley, Julie Lanier (Recording Secretary), Brett Mastroianni. Missing: Chris D’Angelo (Vice-Chairman), Jeff Frenette,, Leslie Driscoll
3. Public Comments and Questions: None
4. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None
5. MINUTES: The Minutes from 09-27-2010 were approved (6-0).
6. CORRESPONDENCE: Progress Report for NEASC- Chris Sanford, Principal Wheeler High School to Janet. Allison, Director, Commission on Public Secondary Schools and Colleges (NEASC) was received and discussed.
7. OLD BUSINESS: None
8. NEW BUSINESS: None
9. Discussions:
A. School Building Project Plan: Committee is in holding pattern until selection of architect and timelines are provided by Selectman.
B. Meeting Schedule for 2011 was agreed. Typically, except for holidays, the committee meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month at 7 pm in the New Town Hall. A copy of the approved schedule was put in the town clerks office.
C. Status of the Request for Proposal (RFP) for Services for Project: The BOE, to our understanding, approved the RFP. The committee has not yet seen it go out for bids. Walt will follow up with Nick to get status.
