DRAFT Minutes

1.   CALL TO ORDER:
Bob Carlson called the Regular Meeting of the School Ad Hoc Committee to order on Monday, February 8th at 7:06 P.M.
2.  ROLL CALL:
Committee Members Present: Bob Carlson (Chairman), Chris D’Angelo (Vice-Chairman), Arthur Dobley (Recording Secretary), Leslie Driscoll (arrived 7:20), Walter Mathwich, Julie Lanier, Sam Cherenzia (arrived 7:33), and Brett Mastroianni.
Committee Members Absent: Jeff Frenette (Corresponding Secretary) and Barbara Siner.
3.  PUBLIC COMMENTS & QUESTIONS: None.
4.  ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None.
5.  MINUTES:
 MOTION by Chris D’Angelo, SECOND by Brett Mastroianni, to accept the Draft Minutes of Jan 25, 2009 Regular Meeting & Workshop. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
MOTION by Chris D’Angelo, SECOND by Julie Lanier, to accept the Draft Minutes of Feb 1, 2009 Workshop. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
6.  CORRESPONDENCE: Two letters sent to the superintendents of Preston and Haddam-Killingworth from Dr. Natalie Pukas. Also a packet on regionalization from the superintendent of Haddam-Killingworth was received.
7.  OLD BUSINESS:  None.
8. NEW BUSINESS:  Work on presentation of proposed building plans. Each of the subcommittees gave a descriptive overview of the basic school plans and its relation to the presentation.
9. DISCUSSIONS: The previous workshop on regionalization and school of choice was discussed and reviewed.       
10. WORKSHOP: none.
11.  ADJOURNMENT  
MOTION by Sam Cherenzia SECOND by Brett Mastroianni to adjourn the School Ad Hoc Committee Meeting at 9:25 P.M.  MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
