DRAFT Minutes
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Bob Carlson called the Regular Meeting of the School Ad Hoc Committee to order on Monday, August 24th at 7:07 P.M.
2. ROLL CALL
Committee Members Present: Brett Mastroianni, Chris D’Angelo (Vice-Chairman), Sam Cherenzia, Bob Carlson (Chairman), Arthur Dobley (Recording Secretary), Leslie Driscoll, and Arthur Jerbert.
Committee Members Absent: Jeff Frenette (Corresponding Secretary) and Barbara Siner
3. PUBLIC COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS: None.
4. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA:
Bob Carlson announced that the selectmen have invited our committee to meet them tomorrow night to discuss heating systems.
5. MINUTES: MOTION by Sam Cherenzia, SECOND by Chris D’Angelo, to accept BOTH the Draft Minutes of August 10th, 2009 Reguar Meeting and Workshop with no corrections. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
6. CORRESPONDENCE: Literature was received from Distributed Energy and Solutions Inc.
7. OLD BUSINESS: None
8. NEW BUSINESS: Elementary School Plan. Dr. Pukas brought over blueprints for the schools. The committee selected the sheets they needed copies of. Members should go over these plans once they are distributed.
9. DISCUSSIONS: Mr. Jerbert summarized the Energy Meeting he went to. He handed out notes summarizing the meeting. The meeting involved renewable energy. These systems are better incorporated into new structures.
10. ADJOURNMENT
MOTION by Sam Cherenzia, SECOND by Arthur Dobley to adjourn the School Ad Hoc Committee Meeting at 8:47 P.M. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
