1.   CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Bob Carlson called the Regular Meeting of the School Ad Hoc Committee to order on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 7:10 P.M. The entire meeting will be a workshop, and no voting will take place since there is no quorum.
 
2.  Roll Call
Committee Members Present: Leslie Driscoll, Bob Carlson (Chairman), Arthur Dobley (Recording Secretary), and Jeff Frenette (Corresponding Secretary),
Committee Members Absent: Chris D’Angelo (Vice-Chairman), Sam Cherenzia, Brett Mastroianni, Barbara Siner, Heather Mars (resigned) and Marie Sehl (resigned).
 
3.  Public Comments and Questions:
Mr. Jerbert talked about Option 5. The previous handout is the final one. Feel free to provide him with questions and comments in either written or verbal form. He also discussed virtual learning, and will try to provide the committee with handout about it.
Dr. Natalie Pukas discussed with the committee putting together an educational specification, and the possibility of a conference between the committee and school personnel.
4.   ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None.
5.   MINUTES:  No quorum so delayed until next meeting.
6.  Correspondence: Several handouts from Bob C. on: the Griswold building project, the CT QBS council, and CT form ED049 (grant application, which is due June 30, 2010).
7.   OLD BUSINESSNone
8.   NEW BUSINESS:    
Future direction was discussed with the focus on the due date of the grant.
           
9. Discussions: The Sterling school visit will be attempted this summer. Topics also included: auditoriums, regionalization, and community use of the schools.
10.  ADJOURNMENT 
Bob closed the meeting at 8:55 PM.
