1. CALL TO ORDER:
Bob Carlson called the Regular Meeting of the School Ad Hoc Committee to order on Monday, November 23rd at 7:06 P.M.
2. ROLL CALL:
Committee Members Present: Bob Carlson (Chairman), Jeff Frenette (Corresponding Secretary) Arthur Dobley (Recording Secretary), Leslie Driscoll, Arthur Jerbert, Brett Mastroianni, Sam Cherenzia, Walter Mathwich, and Julie Lanier (nominated member).
Committee Members Absent: Chris D’Angelo (Vice-Chairman) and Barbara Siner.
3. PUBLIC COMMENTS & QUESTIONS: None.
4. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: Place workshop last.
5. MINUTES:
MOTION by Brett Mastroianni, SECOND by Sam Cherenzia, to accept the Draft Minutes of November 9th, 2009 Regular Meeting & Workshop with two corrections (change cancellation date to 28th, and change spelling to Lanier). MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
6. CORRESPONDENCE: None
7. OLD BUSINESS: Bob discussed the importance of the subcommittees meeting the teachers.
8. NEW BUSINESS: None.
9. DISCUSSIONS: In December the committee will vote for officers.
10. ADJOURNMENT
MOTION by Jeff Frenette, SECOND by Sam Cherenzia to adjourn the School Ad Hoc Committee Meeting at 7:55 P.M. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
A workshop began at 7:55 PM with the subcommittees meeting to discuss their assigned schools. The subcommittees consisted of: The Elementary School, The Middle School, and the High School. All of the presented plans were discussed in regard to the specific school. The workshop ended at 9 PM.
