Draft Minutes

1.   CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Bob Carlson called the Regular Meeting of the School Ad Hoc Committee to order on Monday, May 11, 2009 at 7:08 P.M.

2.  ROLL CALL
Committee Members Present: Leslie Driscoll, Sam Cherenzia, Bob Carlson (Chairman), Arthur Dobley (Recording Secretary), Jeff Frenette (Corresponding Secretary), Barbara Siner, Heather Mars.
Committee Members Absent: Chris D’Angelo (Vice-Chairman), Marie Sehl, Brett Mastroianni.
3.  WORKSHOP Jeff held a workshop to demonstrate the use of the town’s email accounts.
4.  PUBLIC COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS: None.
5.   ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None.

6.   MINUTES:  
MOTION by Jeff Frenette, SECOND by Barbara Siner to accept the Draft Minutes of 4/27/09 with no corrections.  MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

7.  CORRESPONDENCE: None.
8.   OLD BUSINESS:  None
9.   NEW BUSINESS:    
A.  Review of Data  Mr. Arthur Jerbert gave a presentation on his building plan (option 5). He handed out new packets of his plan and gave a quick overview of each section. His main points were: He is thankful to the committee for this opportunity, he will give addenda later, this is a conceptual view, dimensions can be changed, important to have 4 separate classrooms for each grade, the auditorium can be used for town functions.
B.  Action Items
        1.  All of the committee members will review the new handout on
the Option 5                    
        2.  Barbara will look into the tour of the Sterling school.
        3. Jeff will look into the Waterford school building committee.

11.  ADJOURNMENT  
MOTION by S. Cherenzia, SECOND by Jeff Frenette to adjourn the School Ad Hoc Committee Meeting at 8:53 P.M.  MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
