DRAFT Minutes

1.   CALL TO ORDER:
Bob Carlson called the Regular Meeting of the School Ad Hoc Committee to order on Monday, December 14th at 7:02 P.M.
2.  ROLL CALL:
Committee Members Present: Bob Carlson (Chairman), Chris D’Angelo (Vice-Chairman) Arthur Dobley (Recording Secretary), Leslie Driscoll, Arthur Jerbert, Sam Cherenzia, Walter Mathwich, and Julie Lanier.
Committee Members Absent: Jeff Frenette (Corresponding Secretary), Brett Mastroianni, and Barbara Siner.
3.  PUBLIC COMMENTS & QUESTIONS: Bill Briscoe partook in discussions at times.
4.  ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: Place workshop last.
5.  MINUTES:
 MOTION by Sam Cherenzia, SECOND by Walter Mathwich, to accept the Draft Minutes of November 23, 2009 Regular Meeting & Workshop. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
6.  CORRESPONDENCE: None
7. ELECTION OF OFFICERS: MOTION by Chris D’Angelo, SECOND by Sam Cherenzia, to keep the current officers for one additional year. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
8. DETERMINATION OF 2010 MEETING SCHEDULE: The 2010 meeting schedule was kept the same being the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 7 PM in the same place.
9.  OLD BUSINESS:  None.
10. NEW BUSINESS:  None.
11. DISCUSSIONS: The school heating system was discussed in terms of energy source and its transfer between buildings. Regionalization was also discussed and the possible grades to regionalize. New housing construction was discussed and its increase to student population.        
12.  ADJOURNMENT  
MOTION by Chris D’Angelo, SECOND by Leslie Driscoll to adjourn the School Ad Hoc Committee Meeting at 7:56 P.M.  MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

A workshop began at 7:56 PM with the subcommittees meeting to discuss their assigned schools. The subcommittees consisted of: The Elementary School, The Middle School, and the High School. All of the presented plans were discussed in regard to the specific school. Discussions thoroughly covered rooms using building plans (blueprints). The workshop ended at 9:30 PM.
