DRAFT Minutes
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Bob Carlson called the Regular Meeting of the School Ad Hoc Committee to order on Monday, September 28th at 7:16 P.M.
2. ROLL CALL:
Committee Members Present: Bob Carlson (Chairman), Chris D’Angelo (Vice-Chairman), Arthur Dobley (Recording Secretary), Leslie Driscoll, Arthur Jerbert, Barbara Siner, and Sam Cherenzia.
Committee Members Absent: Brett Mastroianni, and Jeff Frenette (Corresponding Secretary).
3. PUBLIC COMMENTS & QUESTIONS: Walter Mathwich (committee candidate) present.
4. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA:
5. MINUTES: MOTION by Sam Cherenzia, SECOND by Chris D’Angelo, to accept the Draft Minutes of September 14th, 2009 Regular Meeting with no corrections. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
6. CORRESPONDENCE:
1. CIRMA: Keeping Green Energy Safe and Cost Effective
2. Letter from Nick Mullane to the Design Learned Inc about heating systems.
3. Building Green “LEEDS to Green Building” brochure on conference.
4. Letter from Senator John McKinney about freezing state matching funds.
5. Letter from Michael Hassell about the music program and a school auditorium.
7. OLD BUSINESS: The High school & Middle school heating system was discussed. A letter is being drafted about the heating system recommendations to the selectmen. Arthur Jerbert discussed energy in regard to the schools. He handed out additional pages to the binder covering energy options, and also a packet on newspaper articles. Discussion followed on various energy systems for the school buildings.

MOTION by Sam Cherenzia, SECOND by Barbara Siner to adjourn the School Ad Hoc Committee Meeting at 9:10 P.M. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
