Call to Order -6:20 PM with Commissioners Rusich, Aiello, Taylor, & Condon present. Also present was Director Hines
Public Comments and Questions-None presented
Minutes-January, 2011-The minutes of January 3, 2011 and January 31, 2011 were accepted by the Commission.

New Business
- Preliminary Budget Figures 2011-12-Preliminary Budget figures will be reviewed at the March, 2011 meeting.
- Dr. Chris Lachowski will present a Community Wellness Program to the Commission for sponsorship-Dr. Lachowski proposes a Community Wellness Program for sponsorship by the Recreation Commission. First week of April, through mid-May. This will be an adult program, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7-8 PM. Motion to approve by Commissioner Taylor and seconded by Commissioner Rusich, so moved.
- Further Discussion on Recreation Area Grant-First Selectman Mullane is proposing an additional $65,000 in the Town’s capital budget for the Recreation Area upgrades of the tennis, basketball courts, fencing, and the installation of a volleyball court and ice rink and also the installation of a new well and water supplies solely for the Recreation Area. The Commission would like to have high quality lighting at the area.
- Update on Snow Removal and Ice Conditions at Skating Rink-The rink will be closed due to conditions. A “NO SKATING UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE” sign will be installed.
