Call to Order-6:10 PM, with Commissioners Walley, Rusich, Taylor, and Aiello present.  Also present was Director John Hines
Public Comments and Questions-None presented
Minutes-A motion was made by Commissioner Aiello to accept the minutes of March 2, 2009, and April 6, 2009, seconded by Selectman Rusich, carrying.  
Correspondence
        Thank you notes for Easter Egg Hunt-A thank you note and gift certificate were sent to Shella Peel our Easter Bunny.
        Letter from Karate instructor Will Duvall stating that with regret he is cancelling the program as of May 29, 2009.
        The Resident State Troopers noted that the Safety Camp has been cut from next year’s budget due to budgetary constraints.
Old Business
1.  Easter Egg Hunt, April 11, 2009-Good overall
        Weather-The weather was terrible this year
        Attendance-Estimated that 150 parents and children attended and thoroughly enjoyed the Easter Bunny and activities
        Sponsors-Tim Horton’s was wonderful handing out coffee and treats to attendees.
2.  Skating Rink-Basketball Court dimensions-Discussion tabled to next meeting, to be located outside courts, Rec Field or Hewitt property.
3.  Walking Track Update-Materials for track surface reviewed and decided upon, work day to be determined.
4.  Summer Employment Update
        Interviews are scheduled for May 27th-Applications are coming in very slowly, deadline is May 15th.
New Business
1.  Tennis and Basketball Court repair and painting quotes-A motion was made by Commissioner Taylor, seconded by Commissioner Aiello to allow Director Hines to make the final decision on repairs and maintenance of the courts, carrying.  Director Hines has received a quote to date from Asphalt Crack Repair and Sealing, LLC,  and he will be in contact with Commissioner Aiello and Dalton Surfacing for a second quote.
2.  April Expenditure Review and Approval-A motion was made by Commissioner Aiello and seconded by Commissioner Walley to approve the expenditures for April.  Carrying.
Any New Business brought before the Commissioners-None presented
Adjournment-A motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:15 PM by Commissioner Walley, seconded by Commissioner Rusich, carrying.
