1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER:
Vice-Chair Elaine Boissevain called the Regular Meeting of the North Stonington Planning & Zoning Commission to order on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the New Town Hall,
Conference Room.
COMMISSIONERS PRESENT:
Elaine Boissevain, Vice-Chair, Joseph Siner, Secretary, Wayne Wilkinson, and Ann Brown
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT:
Lou Steinbrecher, Chairman and Alternate Members Ed McGowan, Pat Lewis and Julie Lanier
STAFF PRESENT:
Planning, Development & Zoning Official Juliet Hodge & Administrative Assistant Cheryl Konsavitch

RC #17-025 Application of the Town of North Stonington Planning & Zoning Commission, 40 Main Street, North Stonington, CT 06359 to modify Zoning Regulation pursuant
to Section 1304 for the following: Section 1001.4 (Animals & Fowl) to add additional size classification for animals for density purposes.

PLANNING ISSUES & DISCUSSION:
7. SENIOR PLANNER & ZONING OFFICIAL’S REPORT/ISSUES:
J. Hodge discussed sandwich board signs which had been taken out of the regulation accidentally and needs to be put back in and also a minimum size for accessory apartments. The Commission members present
were ok with a minimum of possibly between 450 or 500 square feet.

The Commission accepted the minutes of 05/04/17
11. ADJOURNMENT:
MOTION by A. Brown, SECOND by W. Wilkinson to adjourn the meeting at 8:50 p.m. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
