DRAFT MINUTES

 

1.    CALL MEETING TO ORDER:  Chairman Lou Steinbrecher called the Workshop Meeting of the North Stonington Planning & Zoning Commission to order on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 7:03 p.m. at the New Town Hall, Conference Room. 

 

       COMMISSIONERS PRESENT:  Lou Steinbrecher, Chairman, Elaine Boissevain, Vice-Chair, and Joseph Siner, Secretary

 

       COMMISSIONERS ABSENT:  Wayne Wilkinson, Ann Brown and Alternate Members Julie Lanier, Pat Lewis and Ed McGowan   

  

        STAFF PRESENT:  Consulting Planner Juliet Hodge, Sr. Planner & Zoning Official Tom Zanarini and Administrative Assistant Cheryl Konsavitch

 

2.  ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA:  None

 

3.  PUBLIC COMMENT:  None 

 

4.  WORKSHOP:

 

Workshop to discuss a possible regulation/zone change to allow outdoor recreation in an R-80 Zone (291 Wintechog Hill Rd.)

 

The applicant did not show, possible RV Resort Park

 

5.  PLANNING ISSUES & DISCUSSION:   

 

Zoning Regulation Update

 

ZEO Hodge went over sections of the proposed regulations with the Commission

 

 

 

6.  SENIOR PLANNER & ZONING OFFICIAL’S REPORT/ISSUES:   

 

ZEO Zanarini went over his activity report for the month of January

 

7.  NEW APPLICATIONS:  None

10.  REVIEW MINUTES:     

 

Regular Meeting of 02/05/15

 

The Commission accepted the minutes of 02/05/15 as submitted.

 

11.  ADJOURNMENT:

 

MOTION by J. Siner, SECOND by E. Boissevain to adjourn the meeting at 9:38 p.m.  MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
