MINUTES APPROVED ~ AUGUST 6, 2015

1.   CALL MEETING TO ORDER:  Vice-Chair Elaine Boissevain called the Regular Meeting of the North Stonington Planning & Zoning Commission to order on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 7:09 p.m. at the New Town Hall, Conference Room. 

       COMMISSIONERS PRESENT:  Elaine Boissevain, Vice-Chair, Joseph Siner, Secretary, Ann Brown, and Wayne Wilkinson

       COMMISSIONERS ABSENT:  Lou Steinbrecher, Chairman, Alternate Members Julie Lanier, Pat Lewis and Ed McGowan   

        STAFF PRESENT:  ZEO/Planner Tom Zanarini, Administrative Assistant Cheryl Konsavitch and Consulting Planner Juliet Hodge

2.   ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: 

Add budget under old business

3.   PUBLIC COMMENT:  None

4.   PLANNING ISSUES & DISCUSSION:   

Zoning Regulation Update

Consultant Hodge went over some of the proposed draft regulations that Atty. Zizka has reviewed and revised.  The Commission will review all the proposed draft regulations on their own and meet with Atty. Zizka in a Special Meeting to explain them to the Commission.

7.  OLD BUSINESS: 

The Commission discussed and agreed to pay Consultant Hodge the remainder of her fee for writing the proposed draft regulations.

8.  NEW BUSINESS:  None    

9.  REVIEW MINUTES:     

Regular Meeting of 5/17/15 and 5/20/15

The Commission accepted the minutes of 5/17/15 and 5/20/15 as submitted.

10.  ADJOURNMENT:

MOTION by A. Brown, SECOND by W. Wilkinson to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 p.m.  MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
