DRAFT MINUTES
1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Chairman Lou Steinbrecher called the Regular Meeting of the North Stonington Planning & Zoning Commission to order on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 7:04 p.m. at the New Town Hall, Conference Room.
COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Lou Steinbrecher, Chairman, Elaine Boissevain, Vice-Chair, Joseph Siner, Wayne Wilkinson, Ann Brown and Alternate Members Julie Lanier and Pat Lewis
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Sr. Planner & Zoning Official Juliet Leeming and Administrative Assistant Cheryl Konsavitch
2. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None
3. PUBLIC COMMENT:
Dugan Tillman-Brown commented on harvesting of timber on Town open space and the need for farm housing. Bill Riker addressed Mr. Brown’s comment on the harvesting of timber stating that is something the Town would not be interested in doing.
4. PLANNING ISSUES & DISCUSSION:
Visioning Session Follow-Up with Planimetrics
Glen Chalder of Planimetrics gave an overview of the activities at the visioning session which was held on Saturday, April 6th with approximately 65 residents. The visioning session is part of the process of updating the Plan of Conservation and Development.
Don Poland, Consultant was also present who is working on updating the zoning regulations.

ZEO Activity Report/March
ZEO Leeming went over her activity report for the month of March with the Commission.

Regular Meeting of 4/04/13
The Commission accepted the minutes of 4/04/13 as written.
10. ADJOURNMENT:
MOTION by J. Lanier, SECOND by E. Boissevain to adjourn the meeting at 9:10 p.m. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
