1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Chairman G. Russell Stewart, III called the Special Meeting of the North Stonington Planning & Zoning Commission to order on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at the New Town Hall, Conference Room.
COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: G. Russell Stewart, III, Chairman, Elaine Boissevain, Vice-Chairman, Vilma Gregoropoulos, Secretary, Louis E. Steinbrecher (arrived at 6:34 p.m.), Joseph Siner (arrived at 7:04 p.m.)
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: Alternates Member Duncan Schweitzer, Susan Grufstedt and Ann Brown
STAFF PRESENT: Sr. Planner/ZEO Juliet Leeming, Contracted SCCOG Planner, Jamie Rabbitt and Administrative Assistant Cheryl Konsavitch
2. WORKSHOP:
Affordable Housing Advisory Committee to give a presentation to the Planning & Zoning Commission with public comment/discussion.
Mr. David Doyle and Mr. John Olsen, Co-Chairs of the Advisory Committee were present for this workshop along with members Ann Renehan, JoAnna Negri, Mary Ann Ricker, Jane Dauphinais and Marilyn MacKay.
Mr. Doyle did a power point presentation on the findings of the Committee with public input and Commission discussion.
5. ADJOURNMENT:
MOTION by V. Gregoropoulos, SECOND by L. Steinbrecher to adjourn the special meeting at 8:00 p.m. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
