CALL TO ORDER:
Vice-Chair Mark Grigg called the Regular Meeting of the Inland Wetlands Commission to order on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.
COMMISSIONERS PRESENT:
Mark Grigg, Vice-Chair, Cody Bill, Kevin Geary, Candy Palmer, Ron Lewis and Asa Palmer
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT:
Marvin Chase, Jr., Mac Gray and Robert Miner
STAFF PRESENT:
Wayne Berardi, Wetlands Enforcement Officer and Administrative Assistant Cheryl Konsavitch

OLD BUSINESS:
#16-089
Application of Robert & Karen Six, 9838 S. 6th Street, Schoolcraft, MI 49087 to construct a single-family residence with detached workshop, septic system, well, geothermal
wells, underground propane tank, driveway & associated site improvements on property located at 177 Chester Maine Road in an R-80 Zone. Tax Map #87, Lot #7923
Robert Schuch of Schuch Engineering and Rico Mastronunzio, Building Contractor were present for this application.
Mr. Schuch went over the revised site-plan with the Commission which showed the workshop had been moved about 25 ft. which was the Commission’s concern at
their January meeting. Commission members did individual site-walks of the property.
MOTION by C. Palmer, SECOND by C. Bill to approved application #16-089 as presented. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

NEW BUSINESS:
#17-004
Application of Bruce & Linda Wilkinson, 389E Wyassup Road, North Stonington, CT 06359 to construct a single-family seasonal use residence on property located at 389D Wyassup Road (off
Armstrong Pentway) in an R-80 Zone. Tax Map #70, Lot #3034
WEO Berardi met with Mr. Wilkinson earlier in the week to review his application as Mr. Wilkinson was unable to attend the meeting.
WEO Berardi went over the site-plan with the Commission for a single-family seasonal residence. The Commission discussed moving the house forward a bit and
the Commission will do individual site-walks of the property.
The applicant will return for the Commissions March 8th meeting.
8.
ENFORCEMENT OFFICER’S REPORT:
WEO Berardi stated he met with the Engineer for the School Project and will sign off on the application as he is ok with the septic system
design and the work is out of the buffer.
