WEO Berardi informed the Commission of this application at the Commission’s April 13th meeting and after discussion the Commission
had wanted to get an Attorney’s opinion on the application. WEO Berardi did not have the applicant appear at the April 13th meeting because he felt it was a permitted activity that he would sign off on. WEO Berardi stated he has also walked the
site.
Mr. Rossman went over the application and stated the land disturbance consists of an eight and a quarter acre portion of the sixty-nine acre
total parcel. The application is made in support of the restoration of the property to place the land back into a condition suitable for farming and the raising of livestock. This includes areas revitalized for the growth of long-term crops such as timber
and transplantable stock, areas set aside for pasture and livestock pens, and areas for the storage of equipment and farm supplies.
