DRAFT MINUTES
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman George Brown called the Regular Meeting of the Inland Wetlands Commission to order on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 7:05 p.m.
COMMISSIONERS PRESENT:
George Brown, Chairman, Mark Grigg, Vice-Chair, Kevin Geary, Cody Bill and Art Dobley
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: Duane White, Ron Lewis, Candy Palmer, and Robert Miner
STAFF PRESENT:
Wayne Berardi, Wetlands Enforcement Officer and Cheryl Konsavitch, Administrative Assistant

3. MINUTES:
Review minutes of regular meeting of 2/12/14
MOTION by A. Dobley SECOND by M. Grigg to approve the minutes of February 12, 2014 as submitted. MOTION CARRIED
4. PUBLIC COMMENT: None
5. OLD BUSINESS:
#14-013 (Barn) Application of Shawn Michael Ward, 79 Pinewoods Rd., N. Stonington, CT 06359 to construct a barn on property located on Pinewoods Rd. in an R-80 Zone. Tax Map #90, Parcel #6665
Mr. John Comeau, Surveyor, and Mr. Shawn Ward were present for this application.
Mr. Comeau went over the application for the barn and had submitted a report prepared by Natural Resource Services, Inc delineating the wetlands which he briefly went over with the Commission.
The Commission asked questions pertaining to the barn.
MOTION by K. Geary, SECOND by C. Bill to approved application #14-013 with the condition that the stone wall to the south and east is to remain for wetlands protection. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
