1.   CALL TO ORDER:

 

Chairman George Brown called the Regular Meeting of the Inland Wetlands Commission to order on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.

 

COMMISSIONERS PRESENT:

 

George Brown, Chairman, Mark Grigg, Vice-Chair, Kevin Geary,  Duane White, Candy Palmer, Ron Lewis and Art Dobley

 

COMMISSIONERS ABSENTCody Bill and Robert Miner

 

STAFF PRESENT:

 

Wayne Berardi, Wetlands Enforcement Officer and Cheryl Konsavitch, Administrative Assistant

3.   MINUTES:

 

Review minutes of regular meeting of 6/11/14

 

MOTION by D. White SECOND by C. Palmer to approve the minutes of June 11, 2014 as submitted.  MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

 

4.   PUBLIC COMMENT:  None 

 

5.    OLD BUSINESS:      

 

#14-043 (Single-Family Residence) Application of John & Elizabeth Varas, 70E Reutemann Rd., N. Stonington, CT  06359 for the construction of a single-family residence on property located at 134 Sleepy Hollow Rd., N. Stonington, CT  06359 in an R-80 Zone.  Tax Map #89, Parcel #9975

 

Several members of the Commission did a site-walk of the property and had no issues with the proposal.

 

MOTION by K. Geary, SECOND by C. Palmer to approved application #14-043 as submitted.  MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
