1. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Duane White called the Regular Meeting of the Inland Wetlands Commission to order on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
COMMISSIONERS PRESENT:
Duane White, Chairman, Mark Grigg, Vice-Chairman, Ron Lewis, Kevin Geary, Arthur Dobley, George Brown and Mac Gray
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: D’Arcy Cleveland and Robert Miner
STAFF PRESENT:
Cheryl Konsavitch, Administrative Assistant and Wayne Berardi, Wetlands Enforcement Officer
2. ADDTIIONS TO THE AGENDA: None
3. MINUTES:
Review minutes of December 9, 2009 meeting.
MOTION by G. Brown, SECOND by K. Geary to approve the Draft Minutes of 12/09/09 with the necessary corrections. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
4. OLD BUSINESS: None
5. NEW BUSINESS:
A. #09-110 (Addition) Application of Lawrence H. Southwick, 200 Wyassup Road, North Stonington, CT 06359 to construct a great room addition on property located at 200 Wyassup Road, North Stonington, CT 06359 Tax Map #87, Parcel #3933
Mr. Larry Southwick was present for this application and stated that he would like to add a great room addition to his residence without a parking lot as shown on the site-plan he submitted.
WEO Berardi looked at that site for the Commission. The Commission reviewed the site-plan and had no issues with the application.
MOTION by M. Gray, SECOND by G. Brown to refer application back to WEO Berardi to sign off on. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
B. #09-112 (Single-Family Residence) Application of Travis K. & Erin Z. Comeau, 75 Yawbux Valley Road, North Stonington, CT 06359 for the demolition of existing 3 bedroom dwelling & reconstruction of new 3 bedroom dwelling & site improvements within the 100’ upland review area. Tax Map #86, Parcel #4613.
Mr. John Comeau, L.S. and Travis Comeau were present for this application.
Mr. Comeau went over the site plan with the Commission and will return for the February 10, 2010 meeting.

MOTION by G. Brown, SECOND by M. Gray to adjourn the Inland Wetlands Commission Meeting at 7:25 p.m. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
