1. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Duane White called the Regular Meeting of the Inland Wetlands Commission to order on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 7:02 p.m.
COMMISSIONERS PRESENT:
Duane White, Chairman, Mark Grigg, Vice-Chairman (7:05 p.m.), Kevin Geary, Mac Gray, George Brown and Ron Lewis
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: Robert Miner, Arthur Dobley and D’Arcy Cleveland

3. MINUTES:
Review minutes of 1/09/08 meeting.
MOTION by G. Brown, SECOND by K. Geary to approve the Draft Minutes of January 9, 2008 as presented. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
4. PUBLIC HEARINGS: None
5. OLD BUSINESS: None
6. NEW BUSINESS:
A. #08-002 (Residential Caretaker) Application of Jason & Susan Storey, 62 Yawbux Valley Road, North Stonington, CT 06359 to construct a residential caretaker residence on property located at 70 Yawbux Valley Road, property of Kathryn Burgess, North Stonington, CT 06359. Tax Map #86, Parcel #7056
Jason & Susan Storey were present for this application.
The Commission went over the site-plan with the applicant and discussed the steepness of the driveway.
The Commission will do individual site-walks and the applicant will return for the 3/12/08 meeting.
B. #08-007 (Fill Permit) Application of Lake of Isles, L.L.C., c/o Archie Cart, 1 Lake of Isles Road, P.O. Box 3202, Mashantucket, CT 06338 to fill 3,274 sq. ft. of an isolated and degraded wetland located on hole 18S. Proposed mitigation of historic forested wetland fill of equal or greater area near hole 15S at Lake of Isles Golf Resort in North Stonington, CT Tax Map #67, Parcel #2376
Mr. Michael Boland was present for this application and went over the proposed fill and proposed mitigation with the Commission.
The Commission has scheduled a site-walk of the property for Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 9:00 a.m..
The applicant will return for the 3/12/08 meeting.

8. DISCUSSION:
Concord Equity Group, L.L.C., c/o Dana Barnes, 16 William F. Palmer Road, Moodus, CT 06469 to come before the Commission with an approved Inland Wetland 9-lot subdivision, property of Heirs of Thurman Main for property located on Babcock Road, North Stonington, CT 06359. Map #110, Parcel #3901 to update the Commission on the status of some changes within the approved subdivision.
Mr. Michael Healey of Healey & Associates & Mr. Dana Barnes of Concord Equity Group came before the Commission to update them on the progress and changes of the approved wetlands application.
The Commission stated they would like to see a maintenance schedule for all infiltration systems for driveways 1, 2 and 3 and a note on the final plan that all houses come back before the Inland Wetlands Commission on the 40 scale and boundary survey.

WEO Berardi was not present for the meeting.
