1. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Duane White called the Regular Meeting of the Inland Wetlands Commission to order on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 7:02 p.m.
COMMISSIONERS PRESENT:
Duane White, Chairman, Mark Grigg, Vice-Chairman (arrived 7:25 p.m.), Kevin Geary, Mac Gray, Arthur Dobley, D’Arcy Cleveland and George Brown
STAFF PRESENT:
Cheryl Konsavitch, Administrative Assistant and Wayne Berardi, Wetlands Enforcement Officer

3. MINUTES:
Review minutes of 10/10/07 meeting.
MOTION by G. Brown, SECOND by D’Arcy Cleveland to approve the Draft Minutes of October 10, 2007 as presented. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
4. PUBLIC HEARINGS: None
5. OLD BUSINESS:
#07-135 (Repair & improve existing berm & outlet to Lantern Hill Pond) Application of MPTN Planning Department, c/o Peter Georgetti, 102 Pequot Trail, Mashantucket, CT 06338 to repair and improve existing berm and outlet to Lantern Hill Pond. Tax Map #92, Parcel #089534
The applicant has withdrawn his application due to the fact that the DEP wants full jurisdiction on this project.
6. NEW BUSINESS:
#07-160 (Accessory) Application of Thomas M. Demirs, 401 Wyassup Road, North Stonington, CT 06359 to construct a 2 car garage with loft for artist studio. Tax Map #70, Parcel #7874
The applicant was not able to be present for this application. WEO Berardi presented application to the Commission. The Commission directed WEO Berardi to sign off on the application.
7. WORKSHOP:
Mr. George Peet, 63 Mystic Road, North Stonington, CT 06359 to discuss a driveway proposal. Tax Map #108, Parcel #7411
Mr. Peet came before the Commission to discuss a driveway proposal that will be used for agricultural purposes. WEO Berardi will look at proposed driveway and report to the Commission if he sees any issues.
8. DISCUSSION:
Schedule of Meetings for 2008
The Commission consensus was the schedule of meetings for 2008 were fine.

10. CORRESPONDENCE
The commission went over their correspondence.
11. ADJOURNMENT
MOTION by, G. Brown, SECOND by M. Gray to adjourn the Inland Wetlands Commission Meeting at 7:35 p.m. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
