CALL TO ORDER
Chairman George Brown called the Regular Meeting of the Inland Wetlands Commission to order on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 7:12 p.m.

MOTION by M. Grigg, SECOND by K.Geary to ACCEPT the Draft Minutes with Modifications. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
OLD BUSINESS
1. Application # 07-012, 760 Pendleton Hill Road, Maurice H. Williams
Map # 47, Block 2754
To build a Single Family Residence.
The applicant was present.
The Commission did a Site Walk on the property.
It was decided that Mr. Williams move the proposed house 25 feet from the Vernal Pool.
The applicant needs to have the new house location located on Site Plan “As Built”.
MOTION by G.Brown, SECOND by M.Gray to APPROVE APPLICATION # 07-012 SUBJECT TO THE UNDERSTANDING THAT THE HOUSE SITE IS GOING TO BE MOVED TO THE APPROPRIATE AREA WITH APPROVIAL OF THE AMENDED SITE PLAN FROM THE INLAND WETLANDS COMMISSION.
2. Application # 07-027, Patricia Ave, William W. Hixson.
To replace 36” x 39” pipe under Patricia Ave.
Mr. Hixson and Mr. Bob Anderson presented the application.
Bob Anderson is going to do the work.
The Commission had questions about where the sediment was going to end up.
Mr. Anderson explained how he was going to go about doing the work. Mr. Anderson said that the job should only take one day.
The applicant is to use “Rip Wrap” and sand bags up-stream to help keep sediment out of the pond.
Wayne Berardi, Wetlands Enforcement Officer will look at the area before work is to begin.
MOTION by K.Geary, SECOND by M.Grigg to APPROVE APPLICATION # 07-027 WITH CONDITIONS: APPLICANT TO USE “RIP WRAP” AND SAND BAGS UP-STREAM DURING CONDTRUCTION. NO SEDIMATE IS TO GO INTO POND. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
3. Application # 07-028, 365 Grindstone Hill Road, R.Utter & C.Kilgore
Map # 81, Block 2753, Lot 05 4393
To build a 14’ addition to house and a 24’ x 30’ Solar Studio.
Applicant was present.
The Commission discussed different places that the Studio could be located.
It was decided that the site was fine.

NEW BUSINESS
No New Business for this month.
WORKSHOP
1. 165 Babcock Road, Steve Bossie to discuss Pond maintenance.
Mr. Steve Bossie was present and explained to the Commission what he wanted to do with his Pond. Clean up and maintenance is the plan.
Commission member Ron Lewis explained to the Commission that he had been to the property and felt that what Mr. Bossie wanted to do look good.
Ron Lewis explained where the Pond was located, and that most of the year it is dry.
The Commission asked Mr. Bossie what he planned to do with the “spoils”.
Mr. Bossie said that the “spoils” will leave the site.
The applicant will do the work himself.
The pond will be as deep as the machine will dig.
Caroline Howell, 143 Babcock Road spoke up and said she had concerns about how this could affect her property and her wetlands, etc.
The Commission told Ms. Howell that they didn’t see any problems and talked about how the property is divided, and how the water flow works in that area.
The Commission decided to go to the location and have a look.
It was decided that Mr. Bossie submit a plan and show the Commission before any work begins.
2. 6 Surrey Lane, Charles Mathis to discuss Pond Maintenance.
Mr. Mathis explained to the Commission his plan. Mr. Mathis had his lap top with him and was able to show photos of the Pond.
The Commission thought the project looked good.
Mr. Mathis will use the “spoils” in another part of the yard.
DISCUSSION
BILLS TO BE PAID
MOTION by M.Gray, SECOND by K.Geary to pay the bills. MOTION CARRIED
UNANMOUSLY.

The commission went over their correspondence.

MOTION by, G.Brown, SECOND by M.Grigg to Adjourn the Inland Wetlands Meeting at 8:21 p.m. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
