Special Meeting Thursday, December 29, 2011, 6 PM
The meeting was called to order by Chair Peter Bogoian at 6:02 PM.
In attendance were members Brent Woodward, Peter Bogoian, David Isom, Linda Pershaec, Robert Kimball, Marilyn Mackay and guest ZEO Juliet Leeming.
Absent were members Brett Mastrioanni and Christine Wagner.
Discussion prevailed on the merits of the four RFQs submitted for 2012 Consultant for the Economic Development Plan/Study.
A motion was made by Marilyn Mackay and seconded by David Isom to select Garnet Consulting Services, Inc. (Mark D. Waterhouse, President & Team Leader and Leslie Cosgrove, Associate) to undertake said Plan/Study. The vote was 5 yeas, 1 abstention and 2 absent. The selection of Garnet was based on their initial proposal, the written response to the EDC’s questions and interpersonal skills demonstrated during the interview process.
Juliet Leeming will email information to EDC board members prior to its January 19, 2012 meeting at which Mark Waterhouse will be invited to attend and finalize details. Budgeted funds for the $25,000 payment will be available until July 31, 2012.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:33 PM.
