Minutes

Meeting Called to Order at 7:10 p.m. by  Bradford Currier, Chairman.

Commissioners in Attendance  Marilyn Mackay, Brad Currier, Peter Bogoian, Gladys Chase, Brett Mastroianni, Christine Wagner,  and Absent Bob Kimball, Linda Pershaec, Brent Woodward. David Isom.
                
Treasurer’s report:
Robert Kimball, Treasurer was absent, Chairman read report of expenses $2, 267. balance $8,730.

 Review of minutes of October 20, 2011.   A motion to accept minutes made by Marilyn Mackay seconded by Peter Bogoian.

OLD BUSINESS:
  
1) EDC Business Assoc:  December 8, 2011 they will be having Holiday Event at Bono Appetite 5% of the proceeds will benefit the PTO.

2) “MARKETING KITS “a sub committee update, by Marilyn Mackay and Juliet Leeming, North Stonington ZEO & Planner on what   progress has been made to date. This project has been put on hold until the web site is operational.

NEW BUSINESS:
  1) Juliet Leeming, North Stonington ZEO & Planner met with the EDC members and the
RFQ responses were reviewed.  The following choices were made: Better Future Alliance, Garnet Consulting Services, Millone & MacBroom and Planimetrics.
Juliet will contact these companies and try to set the interview date for the regular meeting night Thursday, Dec 15, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. in the New Town Hall Meeting Room.
The interviews will be 45 minutes per candidate. Juliet has asked that each Commissioner submit two questions on each of the plans. Please submit a copy of your questions to Juliet as soon as possible before the meeting.  
        

   2) North Stonington EDC Web Page update.  Juliet has been in contact with Mark Tate and they are working on the program update from the town. A “snapshot” of the webpage was shown. Look at Stonington website for ideas.
  
   Brad Currier, Chairperson and Gladys Chase, Secretary were thanked for their years of service on the commission.  

Motion to adjourn was made by Peter Bogoian seconded by Marilyn Mackay.
