Minutes
Meeting Called to Order at 7:04 p.m.
Commissioners in Attendance: Linda Pershaec, Marilyn Mackay, Gladys Chase, Brett Mastroianni, Brad Currier and absent were Robert Kimball, Peter Bogoian and Brent Woodward.
Treasurer’s report:
No change since last meeting. Treasurer, Robert Kimball was absent.
Review of minutes:
February 17, 2011 minutes were accepted as presented.
Old Business:
EDC 2010 – 2011 Reduced Budget was presented. Linda and Brad will attend Board of Finance meeting on Thursday to discuss budget.
North Stonington Infrastructure; Invite Mr. Pat Lafayette, Lafayette engineering to our April Meeting to discuss “the cost of infrastructure” and what the commission would like to see covered in a study / engineering report.
EDC Business Assoc: follow-up, up-coming meeting on Tuesday March 22, 2011. They are planning to repeat the events done last year as well as a few new ones. A new directory is being worked on as well as the pocket map. They are working on plans for a contest for students to design the front page graphic.

“MARKETING KITS “Juliet Leeming, North Stonington ZEO & Planner
reported on what progress has been made to date. Samples were shown
of web pages, marketing tools/ brochures from other towns.
Juliet will speak with Mark Tate to see what can be done with our current
web page.
A hand out on marketing kits was given to each commission member to review. Juliet asked that we each take time to review it and make suggestions or changes and give her our ideas of what we want included.
New business:
Update by Juliet Leeming, North Stonington ZEO & Planner encouraged all commission members to attend the April P&Z meeting. They will be discussing various uses. They meet the first Thursday of the month.
