Minutes (continued)

North Stonington Infrastructure – Damage – FEMA,  update
Nick Mullane gave report on the FEMA standings. Municipal will get 75% reimbursement but residential is only able to get a low interest loan for damage repair.
The repairs are supposed to be done in eighteen months. This seems like an impossible time frame since Army Corp of Engineers and DEP would all have to be consulted.

Sewer up date, Nick Mullane gave summary of the study and said the report should be available by the next EDC meeting. He gave the commission members a handout of the North Stonington Sewer District.

Rosie’s Restaurant, update. Nick Mullane reported that the owners want to demo the building instead of repairing   due to the extensive damage. They would also like to add a full basement under the building that does not exist now. They would still hold a forty year lease.

Raspberry Junction /Boondocks building 9,200 sq ft is now empty and up for sale.

Circle Park office Park; at the Rotary now has empty buildings. These are 1200 ft condos.

Motion to adjourn made by Peter Bogoian and seconded by Robert Kimball.
Meeting Adjourned at 9:16 p.m.
