Meeting Minutes for November 24, 2014


Location:  North Stonington Volunteer Fire Company – Meeting Room
              267 Norwich-Westerly Rd.
     North Stonington CT

In Attendance:   Joe Cassata, Vice Chair, Charles Steinhart, V; Jon Bosma;   Bob Shabunia, Paul Kowack, Ryan Burdick, Nick Mullane, Brian Elias
Peter Springsteel, Kati Murphy
Meeting called to order at 7:02 PM by Vice Chair Joe Cassata

Minutes:
The Vice Chair requested a motion to approve the minutes of November 17, 4014.
Bob Shabunia indicated that he had requested a letter be drafted to the Board of Selectmen notifying them of the Committee’s decision to award the contract to Suchocki & Son as the low bidder on Phase I. This was not reflected in the November 17 minutes. The minutes were amended to reflect this.  
A motion was made by Jon Bosma to accept the minutes, as amended, second by Paul Kowack.
All in favor, motion passed

    Motion to pay invoice was made by Jon Bosma, second by Paul Kowack
    All in favor, motion passed.
Silver Petrucelli & Associates, Invoice #14-1980 - $25,569.57
    Motion to approve made by Bob Shabunia, second by Ryan Burdick
    All in favor, motion passed.

Correspondence:
On November 24, 2014 a memo was received from Silver Petrucelli & Assoc. asking for Committee response on various design development items.


Public Comment.   None



Old Business:
The Committee reviewed and commented on Silver Petrucelli’s November 24, 2014 memo.
Committee members were provided with the most up to date floor plan.  Members were asked to review the plans and be prepared to any comments at the next meeting.  Additional copies of the floor plan will be made available to those members not present.  
Peter recommended that we have two complete sets of plans printed.
