Ongoing/Old  Business:
•     Rocky Hollow Recreation Area – No response as yet from DEEP.
•     Stewart Hill trail: Need to place signage and open the lower section of the property. Mike to call Bill to make arrangements for trail route signs.
•     Nick responded to the letter Bill wrote to the BOS asking what action is still needed to acquire the 5.5 acres south of the rotary on Rte. 2 to be deeded to the town. Stated there was nothing in the deed to validate the claim. No response from e-mail to town atty Eppinger. Marc and Bill to send a follow up e-mail.
•     Letter sent to Sharon Stewart 6-19-14 regarding 85 ac. parcel on north side of Wyassup Lake
•     Letters sent to Morris family (parcel #8101) and Carroll family (parcel # 1857) on Wyassup Lake Rd regarding the signage of their CE’s.

New Business:
•     Commission suggested we table the efforts to seek permission from several land owners to connect a trail from Lake of Isle to Rte. 201 entrance to Pachaug Forest trail. Major land holder, the Mashantucket, have not held their Natural Resources meeting in 2 years to consider our request. We’re still on the agenda if they ever meet.
•     As nothing is mentioned in the deed for the 5.5 ac. parcel, Dick Blodgett to follow up in the land records to determine if mention is made of its transfer to the town as mentioned in the P&Z minutes  1-19-89 (Map #851  Assessors map 22/5251).
•     Commission agreed we should notify all land owners of the 26 desired parcels identified in the PCRL as land wanting to be preserved. Bill to research land owners by name and address for our sending of letters.

Meeting adjourned @ 7:40 pm
