Officer/committee reports:
Fleury and Ricker reported on  problems with the Chester Main Bridle Trail with some encroachment by way of boulders and debris pilled on the 31’ trail, inaccurate survey along the Miner – Edwards stone wall, and a shed build over the line in the trail. Ricker, M. Tate and S. Holiday to plan a walk through to determine cost of debris removal and safe trail development for hikers and riders. Tate continues to work straightening out the survey issues.

Ricker and Tate have an appointment Friday with the director of the MPTN Natural Resources Dept (Mike Boland) to develop a working relationship for our public to use the hiking trails crossing MPTN land in several areas of town. Commissioners gave several points to cover at this meeting including signage, protocol, stewardship, and  mapping.
