Citizens Comments --~~~~ Presentation by~Karen Lieper~a member of Girl Scout Troop # 63813 seeking support for a butterfly garden to be erected at the Hewitt property. The garden would be 30' x30' and have various plantings to attract butterflies, benches for people to sit and enjoy and surrounded by a border. Commissioners asked her to return next month with more details of plantings (checking for invasive species) and modifying the seating and border to incorporate natural products (Ex: a log bench, log borders, wood chip pathway, etc.)
Land acquision: no report

Diana Urban letter:~~ no response about meeting with DEP. Will send email to remind her

Pipes for septic system~in field~behind new restaurant on Hewitt property. Received letter and map from First Selectman. Discussion on response from BOS~ Need full board present to respond.

Member status -- letter of recommendation for new member has been delayed because of one selectman being out for health reasons.
~
Proposal for trail~signs for the Hewitt property and the Billings open space to be submitted to the selectman for approval. Text of trail rules modified and accepted. Map for inclusion to be secured through Marc Tate. Graphic printer selected from 4 options presented.
Review of application text amendment change for V&M Construction, Inc. reviewed. E-mail P&Z with our response supporting plan as amended.
