Minutes


a. Meeting was called to order at approximately 6:09 pm by Paige Brooks, Vice Chairman. Also present and voting were: Dick Blodgett, Bob Fleury, Kellene Limpert, Fred Launer and Alternates, Jonathan Edwards, and Pat Lewis.

c. Motion to accept minutes from Jan 31, 2008 meeting with one change, made by Paige seconded by Dick Motion passes 5-0-0
d. Citizens Comments: Marc Tate gave a Town web-site update. Suggesting Mission Statement, By-Laws, Ordinance, and State Statutes be put on the web page. Update on trails.
Madeline Jeffery-Comments on Report to Planning and Zoning Com.
E.Officers and Committee reports: No Treasurers report little or no balance in account at this time.
f. Old Business: Goals and Tasks Replacing Bill Ricker‘s Responsibility with new people to follow up on numbers’ 2, 7, &9.
g. New Business:
     1.  Fred Launer will call Cheryl P&Z’s secretary, to get a time slot with Planning and Zoning for workshop.
      2.  Sat. April 5th at 11:00 -3:00 @ Gymnatorium for the Energy Fair. C.C. will have a table set up as well.
      3.  How can the C.C. help Selectmen with purchase of Bell Cedar Swamp and Mystic Seaport Prop.
Motion made by Bob that the C.C. approach Selectmen with Request to allow us (C.C.) to negotiate a buyer for the Bell Cedar Swamp Property. Dick seconds, Motion passes 5-0-0
Member Forum: Pat Lewis suggests that we recommend to P7Z, Altering the Lot size to help with density.
Paige: comments that larger lot sizes are not always the answer according to C.A.C.I.W.C.
Motion to Adjourn made by Paige, Seconded by Fred. Motion passes 5-0-0.
