MINUTES
The Meeting was called to order by the Vice Chairman, Paige Brooks at 6:07 pm. Also present were members Dick Blodgett, Bob Fleury, Kellene Limpert, and Alternate Pat Lewis.
Motion to accept the minutes of meeting on Jan. 17, 2008, By Paige seconded by Dick. Motion passes 5-0-0
Ron Lewis –Clean Energy Solutions presentation. He Would like CC to help with outreach , possibly a Town Fair end of March.
Motion by Bob, to get involved with Smartpower to help with a town Fair. Seconded by Paige, motion passes 5-0-0
Ron will come to next meeting for follow –up.
Reports: Dick gives treasurers report.
New Business:
1. Budget
Motion made by Dick that we submit same amount as last year $800.00. Sec. by Bob discussion follows. Motion passes 5-0-0
2. Plan for Conservation and Recreation Lands and Recommendations for Use of Land.
Discussion and explanation by Dick that this document will be a living document that must be changed and up-dated according to Town needs and wants in the future.
Motion made that the CC accept The Plan for Conservation and Recreation Lands and Recommendations for Use of Land. Motion made by Dick seconded by Bob, voting in favor was Dick, Paige, Bob, and Kellene, against, Pat.
Motion Passes 4-1-0.
Motion made by Dick and sec. by Pat, that the CC gives Vice Chairman Paige authority to spend remaining monies for map presentation. Motion passes 5-0-0
3. Status of potential new members: discussion that two had been appointed this past week by Selectman Nick Mullane. They are Fred Launer and Jonathan Edwards.
Meeting Closes at 8:55 pm
Motion to adjourn made by Kellene seconded by Paige. Motion passes 5-0-0
