MINUTES

 

1.       Call to Order/ Roll Call-7:02 PM with Selectmen Murphy, Mullane and Donahue present.

2.       Pledge of Allegiance

3.       Public Comments and Questions-Van Brown inquired on the USDA loan application procedure.

4.       Correspondence

1.       Minutes- A motion was made by Selectman Mullane and seconded by Selectman Donahue to approve the minutes of the tri-board meeting of April 28, 2016 as presented.  Carrying.  3-0

A motion was made by Selectman Donahue and seconded by Selectman Mullane to approve the minutes of April 28, 2016, carrying. 3-0

 

(Former Item #10) Narrowband Radio Update-A motion was made by Selectman Murphy and seconded by Selectman Donahue to move this item to first on the agenda, carrying.  3-0 .  Chief Steinhart and Deputy Cassata informed the Board most items are completed except for tower on Wintechog Hill Road.  They will confirm cost estimates for materials and vendor costs.

 

2.       Tax Refund(s)-A motion was made by Selectman Mullane and seconded by Selectman Donahue to approve tax refunds presented by the Tax Collector, Amy Snell, carrying 3-0

3.       Transfer request for FY 2015-16 Town Attorney line item-Selectman Mullane made a motion to cancel and replace a transfer request for B8.0 Town Attorney with a transfer request of $10,000 from B25.00 Salary IT Coordinator and $10,000 from B11.06 PZ Contracted Planner to B8.0 Town Attorney, seconded by Selectman Murphy, carrying.  3-0

4.       FY 2016-17 Budget Status-Pending Public Hearing and BOF action

5.       Residence Renumbering Project-General discussion of progress and next steps

 

6.       School Modernization Project Town Meeting and Referendum-Town Meeting was held the 9th and Referendum vote will be held on the 16th.

 

7.       Historical Eastern Pequot Tribe’s Petition for Agency review of Federal Acknowledgment-Petition has been received by the BIA.

8.       Street Signs at Town and State Road intersections –General Discussion of locations and costs.

9.       Public Comments and Questions-None presented.

 

10.     Adjournment -8:45 PM
