MINUTES

 

           1.     Call to Order/ Roll Call-7:01 PM with First Selectman Murphy and Selectmen Mullane and Donahue present.

4.     School Modernization Committee

Discussion and possible approval of an Environmental Services firm-After a general discussion and upon the recommendation of the Committee First Selectman Murphy made a motion to contract with Eagle Environmental for services on the School Project, seconded by Selectman Donahue, carrying.  3-0

5.    Private Road Maintenance Ordinance-General Discussion, First Selectman Murphy will follow up with residents and town attorney.

6.    Center for Emergency Services Update

                     Clerk of the Works discussion and possible approval-Review proposal from CREC, also discussed added services, Selectman Donahue requested additional information on scope of work.  First Selectman Murphy to clarify with contractor.

     7.    Correspondence

8.    Minutes –A motion was made by Selectman Donahue and seconded by Selectman Murphy to approve the minutes of September 27, 2016, carrying.  3-0

A motion was made by Selectman Donahue and seconded by Selectman Murphy to approve the minutes of October 17, 2016, carrying.  3-0

 

 

9.    SCRRRA-Solid Waste Management Service Agreement 4th

         Amendment-A motion was made by Selectman Murphy and seconded by Selectman Donahue to approve the amended agreement and send to a town meeting, carrying.  3-0

10.   Sewer Study-Status update and action plan recommendations-General Discussion, to be place on future meeting agenda.

11.   Commission Vacancy Appointments

                      Recreation-A motion was made by Selectman Donahue and seconded by Selectman Murphy to approve Michael Delzer to the Recreation Commission, carrying.  3-0

                      Inland Wetlands-A motion was made by Selectman Murphy and seconded by Selectman Mullane to approve Alton “Mac” Gray to the Inland Wetland Commission for a term to expire April 9, 2018, carrying 3-0

12.   Tax Refund(s)-A motion was made by Selectman Murphy and seconded by Selectman Donahue to approve a tax refund to Hyundai Lease in the amount of $95.68.  Carrying  3-0

13.   Public Comments and Questions

14.   Adjournment-A motion was made by Selectman Donahue and seconded by Selectman Murphy to adjourn the meeting at 9:11 PM, carrying.  3-0
